I have been (not-so) patiently waiting for Dale Shaws FXCK THIS JOURNAL for quite some time, and once again with thanks to lovely people at Headline, I received a copy before its release, and one lucky reader could be taking home a copy too! All you have to do is read through this post and then follow the instructions below.
What is it about?
Think of a Wreck this Journal, then add a whole heap of sarcasm, a dash of sass, and a few ounces of WTF. I showed the book to my brother who described it as "Cards Against Humanity, in book form." Each page is better than the last, and I found myself LOL'ing more than I originally anticipated.

My thoughts
It's a little hard to talk about the book in the context of a novel because it isn't. It's also a little hard to talk about the book in the context of an adult activity book because it isn't one of those either. Sure you could follow the instructions on each page, but some of them would be pretty hard to complete! I think this book is what you make it - A wreck this journal for the criminally insane, a guide so cynics know they aren't alone in the way they think, or a parody of the aforementioned, Wreck this journal! It can be anything that you want it to be.
It would make the perfect gift for the cynical person in your life!
